The Krabi International Airport was newly upgraded, and receives regular flights from Bangkok by Thai Airways, Air Asia, One-Two-Go Airlines and NokAir. Also, Tiger Airways flies direct to/from Singapore nearly every day of the week and Air Asia also operates flights to Kuala Lumpur. Krabi Airline, a newly established airline is also set to start it's operations in November 2007. with flights to Oslo and Munich.

Phuket international airport is only 2 hours drive from the Krabi-Rent villa, and it offer numerous flights both to nearby countries in Asia, as well as intercontinental flights.

Car rental

The Krabi-Rent villa is located off the beaten track, and if you want to full freedom to explore, you can opt to rent a car during your stay in Krabi. At Krabi International Airport there are several internationally recognized car rental companies available. Namely Avis, Budget and National. A small car should put you down about 1300THB pr day if you commit for at least one week. Also, you may give it a try for the Phuket based APcarrent who also deliver cars at the Krabi International Airport. Prices starts at about 1000THB pr day.

Driving to Long Beach

The drive to Long Beach (Had Yau) where the Krabi-Rent villa is located goes through some of the most remote areas in the Krabi Province. The roads have recently been upgraded, and the quality is quite good. However, the directions can be confusing, and you are recommended to print the detailed driving directions sheet.
